Parents play a fundamental role in our school.
We aim to include parents in many aspects of daily school life.

SHARED READING

Parents/guardians needed to join Shared Reading project win Junior Infants. Parents read to children in small groups in classroom. Takes place Fridays 8.20-8.40am with Miss Antoinette, Miss Pamela and Miss Aoife.

MATHS FOR FUN

Parents/Guardians needed to help in class with Maths for Fun project

Training on Tuesday 8th and 15th February 8.30-9.30am in the staffroom with
Lorraine. Sessions are half an hour in length and will start in classes Tuesday 8th March and run for 5 weeks as follows:

Miss Elaine’s class: Tuesdays 8.30-9.00am

Miss Laura’s class: Tuesdays 12.30-1.00pm

TRANSLATIONS

Parents assist us in translating letters into Polish and Russian to assist our school community in understanding what is occuring in the school.

GARDENING CLUB

We are hoping to set up a parents Gardening Club soon.

If parents have any experience or knowledge in garden areas they are invited to help us complete our multi sensory a nd multi cultural garden.
