Garda Visit
We were very lucky to have a visit from our local community Garda! Garda Elaine taught us all about the role of the Garda and showed us her identification badge and handcuffs! We even got to dress up as the Gardaí too!

Learning about the weather

We have been learning about the weather this week. Did you know that Thornleigh has its' own weather station? You can find it at https://wow.met.ie/ to get accurate up to date information on the weather in the area.

Christmas Tree decorations
The children have had great fun decorating the school Christmas Tree with their homemade decorations. Thank you to all the parents who have helped out.

Learning how post works
With the Winter beak just around the corner, we have started to learn about the Post Office... just in case we need to send some important letters over the next few weeks.

GAA Coaching
Every Monday we do GAA coaching with a coach from Fingallians GAA club. The children are really enjoying it!
