Thank you to all the children and parents who supported the Valentine's Muffin and Cookie Sale.

Winter Fair
The Parent's Council would like to thank all the families who attended and supported the Winter Fair. This year the Winter Fair raised €1037.81, this money will go towards purchasing ICT equipment for the school.
Halloween Fair
This year's Halloween Fair will be held on Sunday the 23rd of October. The Halloween Fair will be on from 3-5pm.
Free activities on the day will include – Spider Blow; Ring Toss; Gooey Surprise; and other Halloween Games.
Face Painting; Nail Art, Haunted House and Henna Art will be available at a cost of 1-3 tokens.
Tokens cost 1 for €1 or 8 for €5 and can be purchased on the day.
The Pumpkin Carving, Fancy Dress and Crazy Hair competitions are all free to enter.
Coffee, Tea and Cakes will also be available free of charge. If you would like to bake some cakes for this event for the cake stall all donations will be greatly appreciated and can be brought along on the day.
Cost of a ticket per family is €5 and tickets are available to be bought from the Parent’s Room every morning this week. Family Ticket includes one free entry for each child into the Haunted House.

Soup DaySoup Day took place on Friday 30th in the Parent's Room. Again this year was a highly enjoyable day with parents peeling, chopping and cooking the vegetables to make delicious soup for the children. The children enjoyed the soup so much that they have asked it become a weekly instead of an annual event. I would like to thank all the parents who helped with the preparation of the soup we couldn't possibly have run this event without you and a special mention to Ujjal our chef for making the soup extra tasty!
gardening ClubAs the Spring is here Gardening Club has started again in our school. Every Tuesday 3 classes will get to attend Gardening Club. During Gardening Club they will learn about the plants and animals that live there. They will also learn how to plant, harvest and grow vegetables. Please check the notes and the Whiteboard on the yard to see when it is your child's turn to attend Gardening Club. You might like to come along and help out with your child's class but also to make sure they wear suitable clothes.
