Christmas Shoe Box Appeal

Thank you to all the parents, students and teachers who supported the Thornleigh Shoe Box Appeal. As you can see, a huge amount of donations were received and donated to Team Hope. The Student Council helped deliver the many boxes on behalf of the school. All the boxes will be delivered to vulnerable children over seas in time for Christmas.

Our Student Council & Friendly Faces

What is the role of the Student Council & Friendly Faces?
As a Student Council we represent the pupils of Thornleigh Educate Together NS. We make sure that the pupils have a voice and their opinions are heard.
If you, as a pupil, would like to improve something in our school then you should talk to a member of your Student Council.
Throughout the year we will organise fundraisers for the students of our school and Charities. If you have any ideas for enjoyable events or Fundraisers that we could run please let us know.

As Friendly Faces we promote and encourage positive friendships throughout the school. We always offer a friendly face to everyone and we keep an eye out for children who need a friend, especially during yard time.

Student Council Bake Sale

The Student's Council annual Bake Sale raised €852.97 for the Gary Kelly Cancer Support Centre. A big thank you to parents, teachers and students who supported the event . The money raised will provide counselling, information and psychological support for people affected by cancer and those who care for them free of charge.

Meet your new student council for this year

As a Student Council we represent the pupils of Thornleigh Educate Together NS. We make sure that the pupils have a voice and their opinions are listened to.
If you as a pupil would like to improve something in our school then you should talk to a member of your Student Council.
